A 3d model or 3d modeling software can help in cultural heritage preservation by visualizing, restoring or recreating how objects, architecture or ancient archaeological sites use to be in past, you can even create virtual reality worlds and do fly throughs and transport the viewer 3000 years back in time and recreate ancient civilizations as though they were suspended in time.
