The FARO laser scanner Photon is a high definition large volume non-contact 3d laser scanner. That can be used for cultural heritage preservation, reverse engineering, accidents, forensic investigation or for CGI production. This scanner can measure up to 976,000 points per second and a distance and accuracy up to 2mm at 25m.
It can move 360° horizontal and 320° vertical, which makes it an ideal tool for large scale environments laser scanning in architectural reconstruction or archaeological sites for cultural heritage preservation.
